Providing Data via SFTP

How do I submit Data programmatically via SFTP?

You can use SFTP (Secure File Transfer Protocol) to automatically send traceability data from your existing systems to Trace Exchange. This allows you to submit CSV files without manually uploading each file into the platform.

Before you start, make sure you've set up your SFTP credentials. If you haven’t yet done this, you can find your SFTP credentials here: SFTP CREDENTIALS

Step 1: Prepare Your CSV File

Trace Exchange accepts CSV files for the following data types:

                Each file must include the headers from the corresponding Trace Exchange data template.

                You can download the templates from Data Management > Data Upload in Trace Exchange.

                Step 2: Name Your File Correctly

                Files submitted through SFTP must follow the naming convention for their data type.
