Notifications for iFoodDS Customer Portal - Trace Exchange

What notifications are shared in Trace Exchange

The Trace Exchange program sends various notifications to users regarding new product updates and activities in your Trace Exchange account.

Notifications have a couple of different delivery methods, email and in-app, and are sent based on the products on your account and your user role.

In-App Trace Exchange Notifications

You can access notifications when logged into your Trace Exchange account via the bell notification icon on the top nav. 

If you have an unread notification, the bell will have a red dot.

Email Notifications

Some notifications will be sent via email. These notifications will use the email on a user account. You will receive the email based on your user role and product on your account.

User Preferences for Notifications

You can choose to turn off email notifications under your user preferences. Click on your user profile icon in the right hand of the top nav when logged into the iFoodDS Customer Portal to access the Notification user preferences.

You can choose which Topics you want to receive emails notifications. You will still receive in-app notifications for these topics; you cannot turn off in-app notifications.

Topic definitions

  • Network Connection: notifications related to connecting to your suppliers and customers in Trace Exchange
  • Product Updates: notifications related to new features, new users added to your account, product subscription updates
  • New Traceability Data: new traceability data added to your account
