Overview
The Trace Exchange App allows users to record different types of critical tracking events (CTE’s) via their mobile device such as phone or tablet. The types of CTE’s users can record depends on the type of Trace Exchange account your organization has purchased.
How to Access the Trace Exchange App
- From a web browser on your mobile device, log in to your account on the iFoodDS Customer Portal
- Click on the Menu icon in the top right of the screen and then click on Trace Exchange from the Menu options.
How to Record a Shipping CTE
- Click the Shipping icon
- On the PO Summary page, click the New Shipment icon
- On the Shipment Details page, fill out all required and relevant fields and click the Next: Add Products button at the bottom of the page when ready. Note that required fields are indicated by an asterisk (*).
- On the Product Details page, fill out all required and relevant fields and click the Save Product To Pallet button when ready. Note that you can toggle between "Pallets" and "Products" depending on if you are submitting palletized shipment data or not.
- On the Summary page, you have several options:
- Review already added pallets or products and edit them if needed by clicking on them
- Add additional pallets or products by clicking the Add button
- Submit your Shipping event by clicking the Submit Shipment button
- After submitting your shipment, you will be taken back to the PO Summary page.
How to Record a Receiving CTE
- Click the Receiving icon
- On the PO Summary page, click the New Receipt icon
- On the Receipt Details page, fill out all required and relevant fields and click the Next: Add Products button at the bottom of the page when ready. Note that required fields are indicated by an asterisk (*).
- On the Product Details page, fill out all required and relevant fields and click the Save Product To Pallet button when ready. Note that you can toggle between "Pallets" and "Products" depending on if you are submitting palletized receiving data or not.
- On the Summary page, you have several options:
- Review already added pallets or products and edit them if needed by clicking on them
- Add additional pallets or products by clicking the Add button
- Submit your Receiving event by clicking the Submit Receipt button
- After submitting your receipt, you will be taken back to the PO Summary page.
