How do I login to my Trace Exchange account with MFA?

The iFoodDS Customer Portal for accessing your Trace Exchange account requires MFA

Multifactor Authentication (MFA) is required when logging into your Trace Exchange account in the iFoodDS Customer Portal.

MFA adds another layer of security in addition to requiring a password to login to your account. You may be familiar with using MFA when logging into other accounts such as your financial accounts.

After you enter your password on the iFoodDS Customer Portal login screen, you will be asked to select a MFA option. Each of these options will provide a 6-digit verification code that you will need to enter in the input box on the iFoodDS Verify Your Identify login screen.

Using an Authenticator App

After entering your password on the login screen, you will be presented with the option to select to use an authenticator app on the Verify Your Identity page.

  1. Click the option to use an Authenticator App on the Verify Your Identity page.
  2. On your mobile device, select the Authenticator App to use. 
    NOTE: You will need to install an authenticator app if you do not have one already installed. Common authenticator apps are Google Authenticator and Microsoft Authenticator.
  3. In the Authenticator app, choose to add a new account and scan the QR code presented on the iFoodDS login authenticator screen
  4. Once the new account for iFoodDS Customer Portal is added to your authenticator app, enter the 6 digit code presented from the authenticator app into the "Enter the 6-digit code" input box on the iFoodDS Verify Your Identify login screen.
  5. You will be authenticated into your Trace Exchange account
  6. When logging in the future, the authenticator app will be the default verification method until to select a different identify verification method.

Using the Email Option

After entering your password on the login screen, you can select to authenticate with your email address on the Verify Your Identity page.

  1. Choose Email as the option to Verify Your Identity
  2. An email will be sent to the email on your account with the 6-digit code
  3. Enter that 6-digit code into the "Enter the 6-digit code" input box on the iFoodDS Verify Your Identify login screen.
  4. When logging in the future, Email will be the default verification method until to select a different identify verification method.

How to Change Your Identity Verification Method

When logging into your account, on the Verify Your Identify page, you can change your verification method. 

  1. Click the Try Another Method link. This will open a page to choose another method.
  2. Select the other method to verify your identity.
